Track: Thurgood Dennis, Sophomore, Allouez, Wis./Green Bay Notre Dame
Dennis led the Blugolds as he won two events Saturday at UW-Stevens Point's Pointer/Eastbay Invitational while the Blugolds came in fourth place. He broke his own school record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.80 seconds. The previous school record, which he set on Feb. 25, 2012, was 6.90 seconds. His winning time was the second best in the nation so far this year and the top time in the WIAC. He also won the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.75 seconds, almost one second in front of the rest of the field, and the fastest time in the conference so far this year.

Field: Mike Kosiak, Senior, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View
With the Blugolds finishing fourth on Saturday at UW-Stevens Point's Pointer/Eastbay Invitational, Kosiak took first in the pole vault. He won the event with a height of 4.51 meters (14-9.5).

Track: Thurgood Dennis, Sophomore, Allouez, Wis./Green Bay Notre Dame
Competing at the 2013 Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa on Saturday, Dennis finished in fourth place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.96. The mark was the fastest time in the WIAC so far this year. He also ran on the 4x400-meter relay team that finished with the second fastest time in the WIAC this season as they took eighth with a time of 3:17.78.

Field: Roger Steen, Sophomore, Luck, Wis.
Competing in two events at the University of St. Thomas (Minn.) Invitational on Friday, Steen won one event while placing in another. He took first in the shot put with a toss of 16.70 meters (54-9.5) and took third in the weight throw with a distance of 16.10 meters (52-10).

Competing at the Pointer Invitational at UW-Stevens Point this weekend, Dennis won one event while he was also part of a second place finish. He took first in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.39 seconds, the second fastest time in the conference and fifth best in the nation so far this year. He also helped the Blugolds to a second-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:25.11.

Competing at the Pointer Invitational at UW-Stevens Point this weekend, Steen won two events. He took first in the shot put with a distance of 16.62 meters (54-6.5), more than five feet in front of the rest of the field, and won the weight throw with a toss of 15.95 meters (52-4).

Track: Tony Floyd, Junior, Whitewater, Wis.
Tony Floyd won the 60-meter hurdles this weekend at the Warren Bowlus Open, hosted by UW-Stout. He finished with a time of 8.45 seconds.
Field: Roger Steen, Sophomore, Luck, Wis.
Competing at UW-Stout's Warren Bowlus Open on Saturday, Steen won the shot put with a toss of 16.56 meters (54-04), four feet better than the second place finisher.

Track: Thurgood Dennis, Sophomore, Allouez, Wis./Green Bay Notre Dame
Dennis helped guide the Blugolds to a second place finish at the Blugolds' home triangular Saturday as he was part of two victories. He won the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.64 seconds and anchored the winning 4x400-meter relay team, which came in first with a time of 3:22.29, almost five seconds faster than the second place team.

Competing in two events this weekend at the UW-Eau Claire Triangular, Steen picked up two wins as the Blugolds finished in second place. He won the weight throw with a toss of 53-5.5, more than five feet ahead of the rest of the field, and took first in the shot put with a distance of 51-6.5, almost two feet ahead of the second place finisher.
