Brandon Stephenson, Goalie, 6-2, 165, Sophomore, Saline, Mich.
Stephenson helped the Blugolds to two shutout wins this weekend to end the regular season. He stopped 26 shots Friday as the Blugolds beat St. Scholastica (Minn.) 3-0 and saved 27 shots Saturday in a 3-0 victory at UW-Superior. He has not allowed a goal in more than his last 132 minutes on the ice. Stephenson improves to 11-5-1 on the season.

Jon Waggoner, Forward, 5-9, 182, Freshman, Fairbanks, Alaska/Lathrop
With two games this weekend, the Blugolds lost Friday at UW-Stevens Point but tied second-ranked St. Norbert College 3-3 on Saturday at Hobbs Ice Center. In that game, Waggoner nailed the game-tying goal at 7:12 in the third period. The Blugolds had previously led two times during the game but had to come from behind after a late goal by the Green Knights in the second period. Waggoner now has four goals on the season.

Jordan Singer, Forward, 6-0, 196, Sophomore, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial
Singer scored five goals and had three assists this weekend as the Blugolds swept St. Scholastica (Minn.). In a 5-3 victory Friday, the Blugolds came from behind to win. Singer assisted on the Blugolds' first goal and later scored a goal to get the Blugolds within one goal. He scored two more times later in the game, one at 15:02 in the second and one at 18:03 in the third, to record his first career hat-trick. On Saturday in a 5-2 win, he assisted on the game-winning goal and scored two more goals to provide a cushion. He scored once on a power-play at 17:42 in the second and had an empty-net goal at 19:13 in the final period. Singer now leads the Blugolds with 13 goals and 11 assists for the season.

Isaiah Bennis, Forward, 6-4, 219, Sophomore, Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial
Bennis scored two goals this weekend as the Blugolds fell twice to No. 1-ranked St. Norbert College. In Friday's 6-3 loss, the Blugolds were in it the entire way and Bennis scored the game-tying goal in the third period with just 12 minutes to play. But the Green Knights scored three unanswered in the final 12 minutes to take the win. On Saturday the Blugolds came up just short 3-2. Bennis scored a short-handed goal with less than a minute to play to get the Blugolds within one but time expired before the Blugolds could score again. For the season, Bennis now has four goals and four assists.

Andrew Wilcox, Forward, 5-9, 167, Junior, Rochester, Minn./Century
Wilcox helped the Blugolds to two victories in the new year, with a 4-3 win over the University of St. Thomas (Minn.) on Friday and a 5-2 victory over St. Mary's University (Minn.) on Saturday. In Friday's game he assisted on the Blugolds' third goal, his 10th assist of the season. On Saturday he scored twice for Eau Claire, one was the eventual game-winner and Blugolds' third goal of the game at 6:27 in the second period while he scored his fourth goal of the season just over nine minutes later, which was the Blugolds' final goal of the game.

The 14th-ranked Blugolds split a weekend series with UW-Stevens Point, winning Friday but falling Saturday. In Friday's contest, the Blugolds won 4-2 to pick up their fifth straight win. Stephenson stopped 34 shots in that game. Saturday, Stephenson stopped 36 of 39 Pointer shots in a 3-2 loss. Stephenson is now 8-2 on the season.

Kurt Weston, Forward, 5-11, 186, Sophomore, Roseau, Minn.
Weston scored three goals, one Friday and two Saturday, to help the Blugolds to two NCHA wins against 13th-ranked UW-Stout this weekend. In Friday's contest, Weston scored the Blugolds' fourth goal at 16:10 in the third period to give the Blugolds a 4-2 lead. The goal proved to be the game-winner as Stout scored one more time while the Blugolds went on to win 4-3. Saturday, in a 5-2 victory over the Blue Devils, he scored Eau Claire's second goal at 1:16 in the second and again at 16:44 in the period to give the Blugolds a 5-0 advantage. Both of Stout's goals came in the third period. The last time Eau Claire won both games in a Friday-Saturday series against UW-Stout was Oct. 24 and 25, 1997. Saturday's win was also the fourth in a row for the Blugolds and sixth win this season over a ranked opponent.

The Blugolds took down two ranked opponents this weekend at the Adrian College Thanksgiving Tournament in Michigan, and Stephenson played the entire game at goalie in both. Saturday he recorded a shutout against ninth-ranked SUNY-Geneseo as the Blugolds won 2-0. Friday, he picked up the win over seventh-ranked Adrian College, playing an overtime contest that the Blugolds won 4-3. He stopped 25 shots Friday while saving 23 Saturday. He was named the Blugolds' defensive MVP following the tournament. For the season he has a .898 save percentage.

Singer picked up two goals Friday but the Blugolds lost the weekend series to UW-Superior, falling 4-2 Friday and 4-1 Saturday. He opened with the game's first goal at 4:58 in the first period on a power-play but the Yellowjackets scored four in a row before the Blugolds found the back of the net again. Singer scored once more at 13:30 in the second period, his fourth goal of the year, but that was all the scoring the rest of the way.

Janecyk recorded a hat-trick in the Blugolds' 6-3 victory over 14th-ranked UW-River Falls on Saturday. While the Blugolds were up 1-0 after the first period, Janecyk kicked off a second period that saw four Blugold goals. He opened scoring in the period at 8:51 on a power-play and after a short-handed goal by River Falls less than two minutes later, he found the back of the net again at 16:24. Five seconds before the game's final buzzer, he recorded the hat-trick with an empty-net goal.

Singer scored a goal and picked two assists in a 4-3 win over Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) on Friday. With the Blugolds down 2-0, Singer got the Blugolds going with a power-play goal at 8:27 in the second period. He assisted on the Blugolds' next goal just over two minutes later while also picking up an assist on the game-winner, which came 14 seconds before the final buzzer. On Saturday he picked up six shots in a 2-1 overtime loss at Augsburg College (Minn.).

Janecyk scored two goals in the Blugolds' 6-2 season-opening victory over Lawrence University on Saturday. While the Blugolds were down 1-0 coming into the second period, Janecyk helped with an assist on the Blugolds' first goal to tie the game up and then went on to score goals at the 11:23 and 14:02 marks to give the Blugolds a 5-1 lead.
