Braunlich played 123:40 minutes and saved 65-of-70 shots on goal (.929) as the Blugolds went 0-1-1 in a home-and-home series with UW-Stevens Point. In a 4-2 setback to the Pointers Braunlich saved 29-of-32 shots on the evening, including 15 saves in the second period. The Pointers scored their final goal on an empty net to secure the victory. The following evening both teams fought to a 1-1 tie where Braunlich played all 65 minutes saving 36-of-38 shots. Braunlich saw lots of action early as he saved 12 shots in the first period and 16 shots in the second period allowing just one goal in those periods.

Braunlich stopped 61-of-67 (.910) shots on goal in two one-goal losses at UW-Superior and St. Scholastica (MN). Against the Yellowjackets Braunlich stopped 32-of-36 shots faced saving 12 shots in the first period and 14 shots in the second period. UW-Superior is in the 'Receiving Votes' section in the latest USCHO/CSTV Division III Men's Hockey Poll. Against the Saints Braunlich saved 29-of-31 shots including 17 saves in the third period alone.
January 16, 2006-January 22, 2006
"Chip Dunleavy, Forward, Sr., Littleton, CO/Columbine"
Dunleavy scored one of four Blugold goals this weekend versus nationally ranked UW-River Falls and UW-Stout. Against UW-Stout down 3-1 Dunleavy scored a goal at 10:37 of the second period to cut the Blue Devil lead to 3-2.
January 9, 2006-January 15, 2006
"Chip Dunleavy, Forward, Sr., Littleton, CO/Columbine"
Dunleavy scored two goals as the Blugolds defeated Gustavus Adolphus 5-3. The Gusties are in the 'Others Receiving Votes' in the latest USCHO Division III Top 15. Ahead 1-0 Dunleavy scored his first goal of the game at 12:48 of the second period to give the Blugolds a 2-0 lead. Dunleavy would score his second goal of the game, an empty net goal at 19:10 of the third period to end the scoring and secure the 5-3 Blugold victory.

Braunlich played a big role in helping the Blugolds earn their first win of the season. In a 2-0 defeat at St. John's (MN) Braunlich saved 23 shots holding the Johnnies scoreless in the third period as he saved all nine shots faced. In a 5-3 victory over Concordia-Moorhead Braunlich saved 27 shots for the game withstanding a slew of shots by the Cobbers in the third period to preserve the win. Braunlich saved 9-of-10 shots in the first period, 6-of-6 shots in the second period and 12-of-14 shots in the third period. For the week Braunlich saved 45-of-50 (.900) shot faced over the weekend in 118:24 minutes played.

Braunlich saved 68 of 73 shots on goal (.958) this weekend in a 3-1 defeat to St. Scholastica and a 2-1 set back to sixth-ranked UW-Superior. Against the Saints Braunlich saved 31 of 34 shots on goal with 13 saves in the second and 11 saves in the third period. Against the Yellowjackets Braunlich saved 37 of 39 shots faced holding UW-Superior scoreless for the first two periods. Braunlich saved 20 shots in the first period alone versus the Yellowjackets.

Braunlich played all 65 minutes in goal in a 2-2 tie against third-ranked St. Norbert. Braunlich stopped 31 shots during the game including double-digit saves in the first and second periods. The tie marked the first non-loss by the Blugolds versus the Green Knights since a 4-4 tie on January 16, 1999.
November 14, 2005-November 20, 2005
"Sean Clark, Defenseman, Sr., Royal Oak, MI/Brother Rice"
Clark scored his first goal of the season in the opening weekend of NCHA conference play. Against UW-River Falls Clark scored his first goal at 6:09 in the third period to cut the Falcon lead to 5-2. The Blugolds would end up on the short end of a 7-3 score to the Falcons.
November 7, 2005-November 13, 2005
"Brooks Lockwood, Forward, Jr., Hudson, WI"
Lockwood scored two goals and added one assist on the weekend as the Blugolds tied Hamline 4-4 and lost to Bethel 4-2. Against Hamline Lockwood scored the first Blugold goal of the game at 3:13 in the second period to tie the game at 1-1. Lockwood would later add an assist against the Pipers. Versus Bethel Lockwood scored an unassisted goal at 2:10 in the third period to tie the game at 2-2.
