Competing in three events this weekend, McCormick led the Blugolds twice. Monday at the Saint John's University Spring Invitational, he tied for the Blugolds' best finish, tied for 13th place with 73 strokes. Sunday at the Saint John's University Winter Invitational, he tied for fifth with 143 strokes to lead the team. On Friday against UW-Stout, he tied for sixth with 73 strokes.

Sean Murphy, Sophomore, Middleton, Wis.
Murphy led the Blugolds this weekend as they opened the spring season tying for eighth place at the Illinois Wesleyan Spring Invitational at Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Ill. He finished tied for 19th place with 155 strokes.

McCormick helped lead the Blugolds to a sixth place finish in the final tournament of the fall at the Twin Cities Classic, hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College. He tied for 11th place with 222 strokes. On day one, he led the entire field after shooting a 68, which tied for a tournament low with two others.

Nick Bertram, Freshman, Onalaska, Wis.
Golfing for UW-Eau Claire's second team at the 2012 Frank Wrigglesworth Blugold Invitational, Bertram had the best score of any other Blugold as he tied for fifth place with 153 strokes. The second team recorded an 11th place finish while the Blugolds' first team came in fifth.

Ben Brooks, Junior, Beaver Dam, Wis.
Brooks had the Blugolds' best finish at the 2012 Saint John's Fall Invitational, tying for 19th place out of 113 golfers. He completed the two-day event with 152 strokes.

McCormick led the Blugolds to a fifth place finish in the 2012-13 season opener at the Transylvania University Fall Invitational this weekend. At the two-round event, McCormick shot 143 and tied for ninth place.
