Martschinke helped the Blugolds to a first place finish with a perfect score of 15 at the Lake Wissota Invitational on Friday. He led the team as he took second place out of 36 runners and came in with a time of 27:04 on the 8,000-meter course.

Aaron Easker, Junior, Eland, Wis./Wittenberg-Birnamwood
Easker led the Blugolds to a fourth place finish out of 25 teams at UW-La Crosse's Jim Drews Invitational on Saturday. Despite having his shoe partially dislodged from the heel of his foot at the one and a half mile mark and finally loosing it completely at the four-mile mark, Easker was able to move up throughout the race and finished the 8,000-meter course with a time of 25:42.6. He was the fourth collegiate finisher, second from Division III and the top WIAC finisher in the field.

Easker led the Blugolds to a sixth place finish out of 22 teams at the Blugold Invitational at Whitetail Golf Course on Friday. He finished with an 8K time of 25:25.1, taking sixth place out of 372 runners.
