2003 Cross Country Athletes of the Week

September 22, 2003-September 28, 2003

Matt Goertz, Sr., Manitowoc (Lincoln)
Goertz was the top runner for the Blugolds at the Roy Griak Invitation held in St. Paul. Goertz finished in 42nd place overall with a time of 26:31.

September 15, 2003-September 21, 2003

Micah Hernandez, Jr., Milwaukee (Wisconsin Lutheran)
Hernandez led the Blugolds to a sixth place finish out of 27 teams at the 2003 Parkside Midwest Collegiate Cross Country Meet which featured many NCAA Division II opponents. Hernandez finished first on the Blugold team and 27th overall with a time of 26:08.
