Dan Archambault, Outside, Sr., Oshkosh (West)
Archambault had a big week as he led the Blugolds over River Falls on Saturday and gave Eau Claire the six seed heading into the WIAC Tournament. He posted at least 20 points in each game last week. In Wednesday's tight loss to Oshkosh, Archambault posted 20 points to go along with three rebounds and two assists. In Saturday's big 75-62 win over the Falcons Archambault scored 21 points and sank six straight free-throws in the final 1:09 to clinch the victory. He finished the game 8-for-8 from the free-throw line and also tallied three rebounds, two assists and a block. For the week he tallied 41 points, six rebounds, four assists, and a block.

Casey Drake, Outside, Sr., Rhinelander
Drake led the Blugolds with 25 points in a high-scoring 92-85 loss to UW-Stout on Saturday. He was 7-of-14 from the floor and a perfect 8-of-8 from the free-throw line while also totaling four assists, three rebounds and a steal in the game. Drake is now averaging 17.5 points per game.

Dan Archambault, Outside, Sr., Oshkosh (West)
Archambault had a big week for the Blugolds as he totaled 56 points in three games. Against Wisconsin Lutheran, the senior from Oshkosh led the Blugolds to victory with 24 points, including hitting 8-of-10 from three-point range. Archambault also accumulated five assists and two rebounds in the win. Against UW-Whitewater he tallied 13 points while hitting all seven of his free-throw attempts to go along with three assists and two rebounds. He capped his week of with a 19 point, three assist, three rebound, and one steal performance against second-ranked UW-Stevens Point. Archambault finished the week with 56 points, 11 assists, seven rebounds, and one steal.

Casey Drake, Outside, Sr., Rhinelander
Drake posted excellent numbers in a week that saw four Blugold overtimes and Drake surpass the 1,000 point mark for his career. He posted 25 points in a triple overtime loss to Superior on Tuesday and reached the 1,000 point milestone late in the first half. He also totaled five rebounds, five assists and two steals for the game. Drake also posted good numbers in Eau Claire's overtime win against La Crosse on Saturday, leading the way with 22 points to go along with five rebounds, three steals and an assist. He finished the week with 47 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and four steals.

Dan Archambault, Outside, Sr., Oshkosh (West)
Archambault led the Blugolds in scoring both games last week despite a pair of Blugold losses. He posted 19 points against Platteville on Saturday while adding three rebounds, two assists and two steals. He scored 11 points on Tuesday against River Falls to go along with three rebounds, three assists and a steal. He finished the week with 30 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

Will Jefferson, Outside, Sr., Wausau (East)
Jefferson had a solid week as he helped the Blugolds upend UW-Whitewater on the road. In the thrilling 77-76 win in Whitewater, Jefferson tallied 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting while grabbing six rebounds and dishing out two assists. In a loss to UW-Stout on Saturday, Jefferson reached double-digit points again, totaling 10 points while grabbing two rebounds. He finished the week with 26 points on 11-of-18 (61.1%) shooting while totaling eight rebounds and two assists.

Casey Drake, Outside, Sr., Rhinelander
Drake led the Blugolds to a 1-1 record on the week and led the team in scoring both games. In a 79-65 victory over St. Scholastica, Drake totaled 19 points and four assists to go along with a steal and a rebound. Drake scored 18 points to go along with three rebounds, one assist and a steal in a loss to Platteville on Saturday. He finished the week with 37 points, five assists, four rebounds, and two steals.

Drake led the Blugolds to their sixth straight championship at the Eau Claire Holiday Classic, as Eau Claire defeated Luther College (IA) and Lakeland for the title. The senior Blugold was named the Tournament MVP after scoring 41 points for the tournament. Drake also tallied 11 rebounds, four assists and four steals at the Classic. He put up a season-best 27 points in Eau Claire's 60-53 victory over Luther in the first round, including scoring 10 of the Blugolds' final 11 points in the last 2:30 of the game. Drake was 8-for-8 from the free-throw line against Luther.

Drake helped the Blugolds earn two conference victories to remain one game back of first-place UW-Stevens Point. Drake led all scorers with 23 points while grabbing seven rebounds in a 64-54 victory over 14th-ranked UW-Oshkosh handing the Titans their first loss in of the season and first loss to Eau Claire since February 24, 2001. Drake shot 8-for-16 from the floor including 2-of-3 from the three-point line and 5-of-7 from the free throw line. Against UW-La Crosse Drake again led all scorers with 20 points to go along with a team-best seven rebounds and four assists in a 69-55 victory at La Crosse. Drake was 8-of-15 from the field going 2-of-4 from three-point range and 2-of-2 from the free throw line. For the week Drake averaged 21.5 points, seven rebounds and 2.5 assists shooting 16-of-31 from the field, 4-of-7 from three-point range and 7-of-9 from the free throw line committing just three turnovers in 62 minutes.

Drake had a very solid week in leading the Blugolds to a 1-1 record on the week, including handing Superior its first loss of the season. Against the Yellowjackets, Drake scored a game-high 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting while also dishing out eight assists in the game. He also had a team-best six rebounds while recording one steal. In Eau Claire's loss to No. 1 Stevens Point, in which the Blugolds were tied with the Pointers at halftime, Drake scored 14 points for the second-most on the team.

Archambault eclipsed the 20-point mark in both of Eau Claire's games this week and also tallied his 1,000th career point with the Blugolds. In a 77-63 win over Manchester (IN), Archambault finished 7-of-10 from the floor for 23 points while also totaling four rebounds and an assist. He was 4-of-7 from three-point range and 5-of-6 from the free-throw line. On Saturday, Archambault led a furious Blugold comeback against Finlandia which erased a 20-point deficit only to lose 94-93. The Eau Claire guard finished the game with 28 points on 10-of-15 shooting, including hitting 4-of-5 from downtown and all six free-throw attempts. He also totaled three steals, two rebounds and an assist. For the week, Archambault finished with 51 points on 17-of-25 shooting (68 percent), six rebounds, three steals, and two assists. He hit 8-of-12 (66.7 percent) from downtown and 9-of-10 (90 percent) from the free-throw line.

Will Jefferson, Outside, Sr., Wausau (East)
Jefferson led the Blugolds to a season-opening win over Coe College Friday night. In the 77-72 victory, Jefferson scored a team-best 23 points in 30 minutes, shooting 9-of-12 from the floor and 4-of-5 from the free-throw line. He also totaled three rebounds, three assists and a block in the contest. For the weekend, Jefferson finished with 28 points on 11-of-19 shooting, eight rebounds, five assists, and a block as the Blugolds went 1-1 for the week.
