Playing just one game this week, Craggs led the Blugolds in scoring and rebounding in a 70-54 loss to UW-Stout. He finished the game with a double-double, scoring 16 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. He also had a game-high five steals and two blocks while also finishing with one assist.

As the Blugolds split wins this week, Craggs averaged 16.5 points and 4.5 rebounds. Thursday in a 56-49 win over UW-Oshkosh, Craggs was second on the team with 12 points and tied for second on the team with seven rebounds. At UW-River Falls on Saturday, where the Blugolds fell just short 76-71, Craggs was second on the team again with 16 points while leading the Blugolds with nine rebounds. For the week, he also had four assists and four steals.

January 21, 2013-January 27, 2013

Nick Craggs, Forward, 6-6, 215, Senior, Kimberly, Wis.
Craggs averaged 14.5 points and six rebounds in two games this week against conference opponents. He scored 12 points and tied for a team-high eight rebounds Wednesday against UW-Superior. Saturday facing 13th-ranked UW-Whitewater, he finished with 17 points and again tied for a team high with four rebounds. He also completed the week with three steals and an assist.

Jordan Petersen, Guard, 6-2, 185, Senior, Strum, Wis./Eleva-Strum
Petersen helped the Blugolds to their first conference win Wednesday, a 59-56 victory over UW-Oshkosh, as he scored 10 points and pulled down seven rebounds. Saturday, the Blugolds also came away with a 68-58 victory over UW-River Falls and Petersen finished with a game-high 19 points while grabbing four rebounds. He averaged 14.5 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per contest while playing 29.5 minutes per game. Petersen also finished with six assists, three in each game.

Competing in two conference games this week, Petersen averaged 13.5 points, shooting 55 percent (11-for-20) from the field, and 3.5 rebounds. Against UW-Platteville on Wednesday, a game the Blugolds came up just short 56-48, Petersen tied for a game-high four assists while he scored 10 points. Saturday against third-ranked UW-Whitewater, Petersen led four Blugolds reaching double-digits in scoring as he finished with 17 points while also tying for a team-best four rebounds.

November 26, 2012-December 2, 2012

Lewis Mau, Guard, 6-3, 190, Sophomore, Colfax, Wis.
Mau averaged 18.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game this week as the Blugolds went 2-1. Monday in a 71-58 win over Loras College (Iowa), Mau scored 11 points while leading Eau Claire with six rebounds. Wednesday as the Blugolds beat the College of St. Scholastica (Minn.) 84-70, Mau reached a career-high 21 points to lead the game and also had a career-high eight assists while leading the Blugolds with seven rebounds. Mau then scored a new career-high with 23 points Saturday while he also tied for a team-high six rebounds but the Blugolds dropped the game 84-69 to UW-La Crosse in the WIAC opener. For the week, Mau shot 45.7 percent from the field (16-for-35) and was 15-for-18 (83.3 percent) from the free throw line. He also had four steals.

Craggs led the Blugolds in scoring in two games this week as the team split on the road. Tuesday in a 84-78 loss at Hamline University (Minn.), Craggs tied a career high with 26 points, 19 of which came in the second half, as he shot 9-for-12 from the field (4-for-5 from beyond the arc) and 4-for-4 from the free throw line. He also led the game with eight rebounds and three steals. Saturday in a 71-53 victory at Crown College (Minn.), he tied for a team-high 18 points and six rebounds. Averaging 22 points per game this week, Craggs shot 61.5 percent (16-for-26) from the floor, including 7-for-12 (58.3 percent) from beyond the arc and 5-for-6 (83.3 percent) from the free throw line. He also totaled 14 rebounds, five assists, three steals and one blocked shot.

Petersen led the Blugolds in scoring twice this weekend as they split wins at the season-opening UW-Platteville Gabe Miller Tip-Off Classic. Friday in a 76-40 victory over Emmaus Bible College (Iowa), Petersen tied for a game-high 13 points while also leading Eau Claire with four steals. Saturday he finished with a double-double, scoring 25 points and pulling down 10 rebounds, both of which were game-highs, but the Blugolds came up just short to Goshen College (Ind.) 79-73. For the week, he went 13-for-22 from the field (59.1 percent), including 5-for-7 from beyond the arc, and also went 7-for-10 (70 percent) from the free throw line. Petersen also pulled down 12 rebounds and finished with five assists and five steals.
